執(zhí)壺為一種酒器。最早為瓷質(zhì)的,出現(xiàn)于中唐時(shí),當(dāng)時(shí)稱注子。唐代執(zhí)壺碩腹,喇叭口,短嘴,壺的重心在下部。后壺體漸瘦長,重心向上提,五代至宋時(shí)壺體多為瓜棱式, 往往與注碗成套使用。從元代開始,執(zhí)壺的壺體呈玉壺春瓶式,壺流彎曲而細(xì)長, 景德鎮(zhèn)窯與龍泉窯都有燒制。明清時(shí)期,形式變化不大,并開始出現(xiàn)玉、琺瑯、金銀等質(zhì)地的執(zhí)壺。
