[introduction to collection]: Jade Panzhi in Qing Dynasty, also known as ban Zhi or ban Zhi, originated from "he" in ancient times. In the book of songs, there was a saying that "a boy wears a" and Shuowen said, "he is determined to shoot, so he hooks a string and connects the right giant finger with an elephant bone.". It can be seen that the use of the trigger finger has long been well known, that is, it was worn on the thumb of the right hand in archery by the ancients to hook the string. It was mostly made of elephant bone. It was originally used for archery and martial arts. It was worn on the thumb of the left hand, so that when archery with a bow, it can prevent the quick arrow from scratching the fingers. Later, it won't fight, but people are getting used to wearing it. Later, it was for decoration, symbolizing power and status. Therefore, based on the above points, the glass finger mainly has the following moral: in ancient times, war is indispensable, warfighters need tact to save their lives. As a weapon, fingering is power, strength, health and agility. Based on this, the moral of giving the glaze to others is to have a healthy body, a smart mind and a smooth work, like being invincible in a battlefield.

The comfortable life and generous treatment made the children of the Eight Banners gradually away from the battlefield. This kind of military equipment has gradually become a very fashionable jewelry. So the glass finger has become the representative of aristocracy and the vanguard of fashion. The people who wear the glass finger imply that they are the pulse of the royal nobility, have the power of the emperors and generals, and are the beginning of the trend. When you send your finger to others, it means to interpret nobility, to be in charge of power, to lead fashion, to be elegant and virtuous.
