【藏品簡介】：玉扳指又叫玉諜(音同射)，本意是拉弓射箭時扣弦用的一種工具，套在射手右手拇指上，以保護射手右拇指不被弓弦勒傷的專用器物。和田玉扳指剛出現(xiàn)的時候并不像我們現(xiàn)在一樣用來把玩，和田玉扳指在古代就已經(jīng)有了。但是直到滿清時期才廣為流傳。這有很大部分的原因是因為清朝滿族人統(tǒng)治了中國，滿族文化廣泛傳播。不過在滿清時，扳指并不是用和田玉做的，而是鹿的骨頭。戴在拇指上是為了射箭時用力拉弓傷到手指頭。因此最開始是作為防護設(shè)施來使用的。后來隨著和平年代的到來，人們佩戴的扳指由鹿的骨頭轉(zhuǎn)變成了和田玉。和田玉扳指也不是被用來保護手指頭了，而是用來象征權(quán)勢與地位。不僅是皇帝佩戴，皇帝可能還會將和田玉扳指贈送過在戰(zhàn)場上立過重大軍功的將士。所以在那個時候，佩戴和田玉扳指的人都是位高權(quán)重的人。
