時(shí)大彬（1573年-1648年），著名的紫砂“四大家”之一時(shí)朋的兒子，明清時(shí)期宜興紫砂藝術(shù)一代宗匠。

時(shí)大彬早期好仿供春大壺，作品風(fēng)格堅(jiān)致樸雅。后在泥料中摻入砂，開創(chuàng)了調(diào)砂法，并改進(jìn)了供春“斫木為模”的制法，使紫砂壺制法得到一大飛躍。他還首創(chuàng)方形、圓形壺式，并把大壺改小，使壺藝與茶道相結(jié)合，把壺藝推進(jìn)了一個(gè)新高度。

Shi Dabin (1573-1648), the son of one of the famous "four masters" of purple sand, was a master craftsman of Yixing Zisha art in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Shi Dabin liked to imitate the big pot for spring in his early period, and his work style was firm, simple and elegant. 時(shí)大彬是宜興紫砂壺成熟的標(biāo)志性人物，自大彬始，以砂壺為代表的宜興紫砂茶具漸趨成為重金競(jìng)逐的寶玩。關(guān)于時(shí)大彬的生卒年有不少學(xué)者進(jìn)行過詳細(xì)的考證，比較普遍的說(shuō)法是明萬(wàn)歷至清順治年間人，也有學(xué)者認(rèn)為其出生時(shí)間早到隆慶甚至嘉靖晚期，創(chuàng)作期最可能出現(xiàn)在萬(wàn)歷早期。

此款大彬提梁身筒成較大且豐滿的扁球形，上部圓環(huán)狀提梁粗大，六方三彎嘴，壓蓋圈底，將方與圓盡寓一身。身筒以實(shí)托虛，圓環(huán)以虛帶實(shí)，上下兩個(gè)圓弧構(gòu)成的虛實(shí)對(duì)照，達(dá)到了視覺上的微妙平衡，整體上讓人感覺氣勢(shì)雄健，渾然一體，所謂“周接四海之表，浮于元?dú)庵?rdquo;。

《夢(mèng)溪筆談》中說(shuō)：“星辰居四方而中虛，八卦分八方而中虛，不中虛不足以妙萬(wàn)物”。
