金錠其外文意思等同于金幣，屬古代流通貨幣，在中國(guó)貨幣史上，始于元代。不過(guò)，早在唐初開(kāi)元通寶年間，民間就有取其碩大、貴重之意，讀為“金錠，而元代稱(chēng)金銀錢(qián)為“元寶”，則是元朝之寶的意思，黃金叫做金錠元寶，銀錠叫作銀錠元寶，既有政治含義，也是對(duì)金銀貨幣約定俗成的通稱(chēng). 這枚金錠底部凹陷，內(nèi)部印有足金二字，整體呈船型，元寶上面印有壽字紋，整體包漿自然老道，并有明顯的留傳痕跡，質(zhì)地堅(jiān)實(shí)，其頂端圓弧形狀，精巧細(xì)致，盈盈一握的束腰型，精美絕倫。Gold ingot, whose foreign meaning is equivalent to gold coin, is an ancient currency.
