四川軍政府成立之初面臨財(cái)政窘迫的局面，因而迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造“四川銅幣”應(yīng)急。民國(guó)元年，四川軍政府命令四川成都造幣廠開模制造了“四川銅幣軍政府造”。軍政府造四川銅幣發(fā)行量較大，流通時(shí)間較長(zhǎng)，而如今歲月悠長(zhǎng)，現(xiàn)存世量不多。
