清光緒（公元1875—1908年，清德宗愛(ài)新覺(jué)羅·載湉年號(hào)）朝歷時(shí)34年，由于清政府頑固的堅(jiān)持封建專制統(tǒng)治，對(duì)內(nèi)采取高壓專制統(tǒng)治，對(duì)外保守投降，致使政治腐敗，管理混亂，經(jīng)濟(jì)落后，市場(chǎng)蕭條，民不聊生。西方列強(qiáng)憑借不平等條約，不斷從沿海向內(nèi)地滲透。洋人憑借各種優(yōu)勢(shì)，大量的不擇手地掠奪中國(guó)優(yōu)質(zhì)古瓷。不少官員和商人，投西方人所好，醉心于發(fā)古玩之財(cái)。在他們的推波助瀾下，景德鎮(zhèn)仿古瓷買賣應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。就是仿康熙、乾隆青花瓷。優(yōu)質(zhì)的仿品已經(jīng)接近或者達(dá)到了康熙、乾隆瓷的水平，而大部分作品則帶有明顯的光緒特點(diǎn)。民窯青花瓷則根據(jù)市場(chǎng)的需求生產(chǎn)，走的是商品化道路。因此品種眾多，風(fēng)格迥異，精粗皆有。
