此枚錢幣并非當(dāng)時(shí)官鑄流通的貿(mào)易銀幣，而是為私鑄幣。銀幣正面的主圖為手執(zhí)束棒的自由女神坐像，坐像的兩側(cè)鑄法文文字是：REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE（法蘭西共和國(guó)）。女神座下方有小字法文BARRE和該幣發(fā)行的年份1906年。銀幣背面的主圖案為一花環(huán)，周圈為說(shuō)明文字，花環(huán)上方鑄法文為：FRANCAISE INDO-CHINE（法蘭西印度支那），銀幣花環(huán)中間的橫向文字為銀幣的面額：PIASTRE DE COMMERCE(皮阿斯特的貿(mào)易銀)。銀幣花環(huán)下方文字為：TITRE 0.900 POIDS 27 GR。此乃當(dāng)年私鑄幣，極具研究?jī)r(jià)值與收藏意義。
各種坐洋斷斷續(xù)續(xù)發(fā)行至1937年，因?yàn)閼?zhàn)爭(zhēng)的陰影而宣告結(jié)束。而中國(guó)在1933年實(shí)行廢兩改元后，船洋 法幣逐漸一統(tǒng)市場(chǎng)，外國(guó)銀圓在中國(guó)的好日子不復(fù)存在，恰好的是這個(gè)時(shí)候坐洋也銷聲匿跡了。二次大戰(zhàn)城結(jié)束后，法國(guó)短暫統(tǒng)治印度支那，再?zèng)]有再發(fā)行過(guò)銀質(zhì)貨幣，坐洋的發(fā)行期為1903年至1923年。

This coin was not a trade silver coin of the time, but a private coin.
