Shuangqi coin originated in the Republic of China. After the Qing emperor abdicated in 1911, the Republic of China was founded. In 1914, the copper coin was officially renamed "copper coin". The biggest difference between the copper coin issued in the Republic of China and the Qing Dynasty was that the dragon pattern was replaced by the Jiahe pattern composed of rice ears. Most of the copper coins made in each province are national flags with two forks, and have the words "Founding commemorative coins" or "copper coins of the Republic of China".
