該幣的正面除了字樣為民國二十三年外，正面為孫中山側面像，上環“中華民國二十三年”字樣。銀幣背面鐫刻雙桅帆船放洋圖，船兩側楷書“壹圓”各一字。該幣成色佳，分量足，進入流通領域后很快為廣大民眾所接受，并和二十二年船洋共同逐步取代了袁大頭銀元的流通地位。民國二十三年帆船幣制作數量比銅元、紙幣少得多，加上民國時期社會動蕩，存世所剩很少，比現發行的郵票、紀念幣數量少得多。且本品為近未流通的全品相極美品，極為收藏家所喜愛。

On the back of the silver coin is engraved a plan for the sailing of a two-mast sailing boat， with the words one yuan in the regular script on both sides of the boat. The coin was well-formed and well-weighted. It was quickly accepted by the general public after it entered the circulation field. It gradually replaced the circulation status of Yuan Datou’s silver dollar with Shipping Ocean in the past 22 years. In the 23 years of the Republic of China， the number of yacht coins produced was much less than that of copper and paper coins. In addition to the social unrest during the Republic of China， there was little left in the world， much less than the number of stamps and commemorative coins issued now. And this product is nearly non-circulation of the whole product， extremely loved by collectors.
