“洪熙”為明仁宗朱高熾的年號，其在位僅十月有余 ， 期間是否鑄有自己的年號錢歷史記載不詳，后世存有爭議。一種說法認為“洪熙通寶”是明仁宗洪熙元年（公元1425年）所鑄，不及入市駕崩，故傳世稀少；另一種說法認為此幣為嘉靖年間補鑄。
"Hong Xi" is the title of Zhu Gaochi, Emperor Renzong of Ming Dynasty. His reign lasted only more than ten months. Whether he had his own title money during this period is unknown, and later generations are controversial. One theory holds that "Hongxi Tongbao" was cast in the first year of Hongxi of Emperor Renzong of Ming Dynasty (1425 A.D.), which was not as good as entering the market and died, so it was rarely handed down from ancient times. Another view is that this coin was coined during the Jiajing period.
“洪熙通寶”實物直到上世紀二三十年代，被收藏大家張叔馴、羅伯昭先生各獲一枚小平錢。張氏一品早已銷跡多年，不知流落何方，另一品由羅氏在新中國成立后捐獻給了中國歷史博物館。之后湖南周自力先生還藏有一枚“洪熙通寶”背福十大錢，華光普先生編撰的《中國古錢大集》一書將其視為“僅見品、真偽待考”。

洪熙通寶（福十）”,此藏品外圓內方。正面“洪熙通寶”四字，包漿自然，背面上方“福十”二字，洪熙通寶無論小平還是折十型背福十錢，近年皆已可見出，雖然出量仍為罕少。檢索網展，其小平錢可見不止一式，此乃讓人生疑之處。首先，察本品，生坑出土，包漿銹色純真，其銹疊嶂，非偽銹可比。錢文書意特別值得注意，仔細看來，其楷書文筆粗壯有力，極具洪武錢風，其中“洪”字第一點處于“共”字第一橫上方，而非左邊；“通”字走之最后收筆上翹；“寶”字則呈高大之態。此等書意，實難為偽作私鑄所為之矣。此外，其字口深峻，鑄制規整，官鑄跡象亦較為明顯。

The meaning of Qian's script is especially noteworthy. Careful examination shows that his regular script is strong and forceful, with a strong style of money. The first point of the word "Hong" is above the first horizontal line of the word "Gong", not to the left. At the end of the passage, the word "tong" went up. The word "treasure" is tall. The meaning of these books is really hard to be forged by counterfeiters. In addition, its character mouth is deep and strict, the casting system is regular, and the signs of official casting are obvious.
其次，再行參照華譜拓圖，該拓圖不甚明晰，恐乃錢體銹蝕較重之故。然，經細致比對，本品乃與拓圖最為接近，上述三字之典型特征皆相互符合。故，基本上可認定，本品乃為拓圖之另品。當然，本品并非張叔馴軼失之品，這里，本人亦非將其硬往名家持品上靠，實乃實事求是，是什么即是什么，諸君亦可明辨。這乃因為，既然我們認為洪熙年鑄洪熙通寶為實，盡管鑄量小，存世量罕，然，絕非僅鑄二枚，并恰好還留給后人收藏。因此，后再出土，或再現世即一點不為奇怪，也可以說乃為必然矣！

However, after careful comparison, this product is the closest to the extension map, and the typical characteristics of the above three characters are consistent with each other. Therefore, it can be basically recognized that this product is another product of the extension map. Of course, this product is not something Zhang Shu failed to tame. here, I am not trying to rely on the products held by famous artists. it is actually seeking truth from facts. you can also distinguish what is what it is. This is because, since we believe that Hongxi Tong Bao was actually cast in Hongxi years, although the amount of casting was small and rare, it was by no means only two and was just left to future generations to collect. Therefore, it is not surprising that it will be unearthed later or in this world. It can also be said that it is inevitable.
