廣東省造光緒元寶庫(kù)平七錢二（雙龍壽字幣）
廣東省造雙龍壽字光緒元寶一枚，此幣鑄于光緒三十一年(1905)初，為紀(jì)念慈禧七十壽辰而鑄。張炯伯在《廣東省造銀幣》一文中寫道：“惟本品因未紀(jì)年，殊難遽斷，然觀其圖案，諧作福壽，環(huán)繞雙龍，幕無(wú)英文，意含頌祝，大異常制。由此以推，成為紀(jì)念幣之一種，專鑄以祝慈禧太后七旬萬(wàn)壽者也。
“廣東雙龍壽字幣一兩、七錢二分、七錢二”銀幣的鑄造，史料中沒(méi)有確切記載，泉家們歷來(lái)對(duì)于其具體鑄造情況有不同的解讀，至今沒(méi)有定論。民國(guó)時(shí)期的張炯伯等學(xué)者認(rèn)為:這種銀幣系光緒三十一年(1905)為紀(jì)念慈禧太后七十壽辰而鑄造的。張炯伯在其《廣東省造壹兩銀幣》一文中稱：“惟本品因未紀(jì)年，殊難遽斷，然觀其圖案，諧作福壽，環(huán)繞雙龍，幕無(wú)英文，意含頌祝，大異常制。由此以推，成為紀(jì)念幣之一種，專鑄以祝慈禧太后七旬萬(wàn)壽者也。
也有學(xué)者根據(jù)清末王述生所著《述庵秘錄》的記載，認(rèn)為系光緒二十年(1894年)廣東巡撫剛毅為祝慈禧太后「六十壽辰」而鑄造的祝壽幣!據(jù)《述庵秘錄》摘錄：滿人生性好財(cái)，其故由饋贈(zèng)宮閫親貴。包衣人嚴(yán)主仆之誼，主家貧困，包衣雖官宰輔，主至其家，則尊事若父母，有欲取輒攜去，弗能較也。故滿人應(yīng)官多貪鄙，靡足言者。剛毅由清文翻譯，歷官部郎巡撫。不識(shí)漢文，好瑣屑，自謂精能。
巡撫廣東，以甲午入都祝嘏（慈禧六旬壽），希大用。時(shí)內(nèi)地通用銀，廣東獨(dú)制銀幣。剛謂總辦某道曰：“為我制銀幣三萬(wàn)（注：三種版別各三萬(wàn)枚還是三種版別共三萬(wàn)枚？不詳），攜入都。”某曰：“諾。”制成赍往，剛默然。至都，因內(nèi)侍獻(xiàn)慈禧，且言剛毅知萬(wàn)壽賞號(hào)繁，特鑄幣以表敬意。慈禧故喜，譽(yù)幣新色可喜，遂飭收。剛尋入軍機(jī)，某道亦不敢索償。
張執(zhí)群先生收藏的《銀圓造幣鋼模大全》》書中就收錄有"廣東省造壽字銀幣，鋼模數(shù)套。書中收錄有“廣東省造壽字銀幣”鋼模數(shù)套，分為七錢二分和一兩共兩種，其中就有《雙龍壽字庫(kù)平重壹兩（陰翼紋-陽(yáng)翼紋）和庫(kù)平七錢二分》鋼模。這也印證了“王述生”所著（述庵秘錄 ）屬實(shí)。 綜上所述，可得出這樣的結(jié)論：“雙龍壽字”紋銀幣分三種版別，面值有兩種。因此幣是為祝賀“慈禧太后六十壽辰（1894年）而鑄，故鑄額稀少，留存至今的非常珍罕，這證明了廣東曾同時(shí)鑄造這兩種面值的銀幣。
"雙龍壽字幣的具體鑄造情況，至今還是一個(gè)未解之迷，,為出譜幣、錢譜沒(méi)有記載就不等于沒(méi)有!無(wú)論歷史事實(shí)如何，"廣東雙龍壽字銀幣"在中國(guó)近代官鑄機(jī)制銀幣中的獨(dú)特地位是毋庸置疑的，其珍罕性和極高的收藏價(jià)值。
