油畫家冷軍是中國當(dāng)代超寫實(shí)主義油畫的領(lǐng)軍人物。是中國當(dāng)代超寫實(shí)主義油畫的最具代表性的畫家。冷軍以其超級寫實(shí)主義風(fēng)格，在中國畫壇獨(dú)樹一幟。其作品的最大特點(diǎn)就是極端寫實(shí)。他的作品畫面絲毫畢現(xiàn)，形象精致入微。同時，由于對當(dāng)代題材與內(nèi)容的切入，可以給觀者精神上也形成全面的張力，心靈受到震顫。冷軍的""寫生""被作為是保證畫面信息來源的生動性、豐富性和可靠性以及激發(fā)行動的表現(xiàn)方式，在作畫時他往往要逼近對象，掃描式的尋找、體會每個所需要的細(xì)節(jié)，局部深入，整體觀照，力求畫面充分，細(xì)節(jié)與整體效果的完美統(tǒng)一。透過層層油彩，冷軍帶給觀賞者的是沉默、冷峻和深刻———“干惟畫肉不畫骨，忍使驊騮氣凋喪”，杜甫曾在詩句中寫出，好的作品要有風(fēng)骨，要“有神”。而冷軍用普通的畫筆，把顏料和思想混合，在畫布上汪洋恣肆地展示出他對繪畫的理解。在他手下，畫筆有靈魂，作品有風(fēng)骨。

冷軍，1963年生于四川。1984年畢業(yè)于武漢師范學(xué)院漢口分院藝術(shù)系?，F(xiàn)任武漢畫院副院長，國家一級美術(shù)師。在2007年9月22日下午閉幕的湖北省文學(xué)藝術(shù)界聯(lián)合會第八次代表大會，冷軍當(dāng)選為省文聯(lián)副主席。其作品多次參加國內(nèi)外大展，數(shù)次獲全國美展大獎，聲名海內(nèi)外，是近年來大陸非常有影響的青年美術(shù)家。冷軍1984年畢業(yè)于武漢師范學(xué)院漢口分院藝術(shù)系。現(xiàn)任武漢畫院院長。主要藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作及活動年表：1993年作品《關(guān)于網(wǎng)的設(shè)計》獲93中國油畫年展銀獎。1994年作品《文物-新產(chǎn)品設(shè)計》獲第二屆中國油畫展藝術(shù)作品獎，并參加中國油畫百年展。1995年作品《世紀(jì)風(fēng)景之二》獲’95第三屆中國油畫年展金獎。1999年作品《五角星》獲第九屆全國美展金獎。2000年參加“1979-1999世紀(jì)之門邀請展”，并在深圳美術(shù)館舉辦個展。2001年開始制作石版畫，作品《突變-有刺的剪刀》獲首屆中國小油畫大展優(yōu)秀作品獎。2002年作品《工具箱》等六幅系列參加中國油畫三年展。作品多為國內(nèi)外藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)及私人收藏。
