“淮海戰(zhàn)役勝利紀(jì)念郵票”這枚郵票在發(fā)行后備受集郵愛好者及歷史學(xué)家的質(zhì)疑,原來1949年1月19日《人民日報(bào)》曾刊登了一則中央對淮海戰(zhàn)役勝利結(jié)束的賀電。上面清楚的寫著，淮海戰(zhàn)役的開始時(shí)間是“去年（1948年）十一月六日”，而這枚郵票卻錯(cuò)誤地將淮海戰(zhàn)役的起始日期由6日印成了9日。
