隕石在高空飛行時，表面溫度達到幾千度。在這樣的高溫下，隕石表面融化成了液體。后來由于低層比較濃密大氣的阻擋，他的速度越來越慢，融化的表面冷卻下來，形成一層薄殼叫“熔殼”。熔殼很薄，顏色是黑色或棕色的。在熔殼冷卻的過程中，空氣流動在隕石表面吹過的痕跡也保留下來，叫“氣印”。When meteorites fly at high altitudes, their surface temperatures reach several thousand degrees. 此鐵隕石在隕落地面以前要穿越稠密的大氣層，隕石在降落過程中與大氣發生磨擦產生高溫燃燒后遺留很多痕跡，使其表面發生熔融而形成一層薄薄熔殼，凹陷處有一些泛紅的銹跡，清晰明顯，上有流線紋，布滿致密的小氣泡,該鐵隕石含多種金屬礦物質，極為稀有，非常適合投資和收藏。The iron meteorite passes through the dense atmosphere before it falls to the ground.
