2010年2月10日，國際奧委會在加拿大溫哥華召開第122次全會，投票選出2014年第2屆夏季青年奧林匹克運動會的承辦權授予中國的南京市。2011年5月19日南京青奧會會徽正式發布。
2014年南京青年奧林匹克運動會，簡稱為南京青奧會。作為世界頂級奧運鑒會，僅2010年舉辦的青奧會就已是達204個國家和地區，此次2014年青奧會規格勢必超過往屆，青奧會與奧運會一樣均由國際奧委組審核、確認后方可舉辦。與北京2008奧運會規格同等，每四年一屆兩者徽標上遍有五環標志，青奧會不僅傳承奧運體育精髓，更將教育、文化等領域完美融合，由于是專為青年人設立的國際頂尖賽事，又被人們稱之為奧運的未來！
為隆重慶祝南京成功申辦“2014年青年奧運會”，2008年北京奧運會會徽，“中國印·舞動的北京“發布1摩年紀念（2003年8月3日晚 2008年北京奧運會會徽“中國印·舞動的北京”在北京運動公園正式對外發布），特由中國國際收藏協會監制，出品發行“雙奧盛典”藏品已作為永久紀念！
