此藏品為 上六星孫小頭。 中華民國 開國紀念幣 壹圓/孫像 孫小頭 直徑38.76毫米，重26.64克，整體完好，圖文清晰。 孫小頭，這種紀念幣有兩個版本: ( 分別是在1912年和1927年鑄造) 1927年版的"孫小頭": 如果背面印有兩個五角星，稱為"上五角星";如果背面印有兩個六角星，稱為"上六角星"。
民國十六年北伐戰爭勝利，國民政府定都南京，南京造幣廠先取原模，重鑄孫中山開國紀念幣，后又改動幣背面的英文和花邊(六角星)，鑄成新版，批量發行，俗稱"小頭"。此后四年孫中山開國紀念幣鑄量不下數十億，與"袁大頭"一起成為舊中國的主要流通貨幣。
"小頭"正面刻孫中山半身像，上源為"中華民國XX年"，背面為嘉禾圖圍繞"壹圓"二字，有民國十五年、十六年、十八年及陵墓'地球、無年號、嘉禾等版別。其中孫中山陵墓幣鑄于1927年，南京國民政府為紀念建造中山陵，鑄造陵墓紀念銀幣和紀念銅牌。據傳該幣僅鑄480枚，分贈黨政要員和護送靈柩人員，此幣為意大利造幣公司雕刻，正面為孫中山正面像，上有"中華民國國民政府"八字，背面中為"一元"，下書"十六年造"左為旭日青松，右為中山陵寢殿。 重鑄舊幣的同時，國民政府也在加緊趕制新國幣。
