民國三年(即1914年)國民政府為了統(tǒng)一幣制，規(guī)定了民國三年袁大頭一元銀幣為本位幣，其標(biāo)準(zhǔn)重量為七錢二分，成色銀九銅一，統(tǒng)一由天津造幣廠鑄造(后在南京、廣東、誤差、甘肅造幣廠陸續(xù)鑄造)，并統(tǒng)一流通。In order to unify the currency system in the three years of the Republic of China (1914), the National Government stipulated that Yuan Datou's one-dollar silver coin in the three years of the Republic of China should be the standard currency. Its standard weight is seven cents and two cents.

幣值有一元、半元、二角、一角等面值的袁大頭。當(dāng)時，為了鞏固國內(nèi)政局穩(wěn)定，發(fā)展民族經(jīng)濟，也為"制憲"和"稱帝"作準(zhǔn)備，于是發(fā)布《國幣條例》，毅然決定在全國"統(tǒng)一幣制"。Yuan Datou, whose currency value is one yuan, half yuan, dime and dime, has the same par value as Yuan Datou. At that time, in order to consolidate the stability of the domestic political situation, develop the national economy, and prepare for "constitution-making" and "emperor-proclaiming", the National Monetary Regulations were issued, which resolutely decided to "unify the monetary system" throughout the country.

 民國三年(1914年)開始鑄造有袁世凱頭像的銀圓。人們一般稱之為“袁像幣”，又有“袁大頭”、“袁頭”、“大頭”、“袁像”等俗稱。In the three years of the Republic of China (1914), the silver round with the head of Yuan Shikai was cast. People generally call it "Yuan Xiangqian", and have the common names of "Yuan Datou", "Yuan Datou", "Yuan Datou", "Yuan Xiangqian" and so on.

此枚袁大頭三年雖然經(jīng)歷了無窮歲月的洗禮，但是如今保存依然較為完好。其色澤光鮮自然，紋飾深淺適度，邊緣線條粗細(xì)均勻，間距也疏密一致。人像、發(fā)絲、胡須、穗芒等細(xì)微之處清晰有度，生動自然。它是一枚具有很高收藏價值的精品銀元，其未來的價值無可限量。Although the first three years of Yuan Datou have gone through the baptism of endless years, it is still relatively well preserved today. Its luster is bright and natural, moderate decoration depth, uniform edge lines, spacing is also dense and consistent. Portraits, hair, beard, spikes and awns and other subtle places are clear, vivid and natural. It is a fine silver dollar with high collection value, and its future value is unlimited.
