銀幣正面中央圓圈內(nèi)鐫“光緒銀幣”四個字，圈外左右兩側(cè)分鐫“丁未”二字和一對雙龍戲珠(壽字)圖案。銀幣背面中央鐫“一兩”二字，兩側(cè)鐫雙龍戲珠圖案，兩條龍的背部和龍腹部分別鐫有三團(tuán)云朵，下端鐫海浪圖案。正面和背面的龍圖造型完全不同。此款光緒元寶發(fā)行量極少，丁未一兩，品相完整，保存完好，有一定包漿年代感，極具收藏價值。
這枚銀幣當(dāng)年雖然投放于市場，但它在市面上流通的時間并不是很長，后來被全面收回;它當(dāng)年的實(shí)際鑄造量其實(shí)并不多，能完好流傳保存至今的，少之又少，罕見至極。
