“慶應通寶”貳百為日本江戶幕府鑄造。“應慶”即是那一時期天皇年號，僅在公元1865-1867年使用了三年時間。1867年江戶幕府德川慶喜還政于天皇，次年明治時開始。這種錢幣因其鑄期不長，鑄量不豐，流于中國的“慶應通寶”就更為稀少，故而亦算是古錢幣中的珍品。
"qingying tongbao" was cast for the edo shogunate in japan. "yingqing" was the emperor's year of that period, which lasted only three years from 1865 to 1867. in 1867, tokugawa, the edo shogunate, returned to power at the emperor. the meiji era began the following year. this kind of coin is also a treasure of ancient coins because of its short casting period and insufficient casting capacity, and the "qingying tongbao" flowing in china is even rarer.
