大清銅幣，學(xué)名清代機(jī)制銅圓。鑄造始于1900年(清光緒二十六年)，止于1911年(宣統(tǒng)三年)，流通時(shí)間較短。因其版面設(shè)計(jì)優(yōu)雅，雕刻精良，且存世量極為稀少，戶(hù)部制大清銅幣當(dāng)制錢(qián)十文就更加的難得。

"大清銅幣"當(dāng)十銅圓共有十九個(gè)省局鑄造。除中央戶(hù)部鑄造者外，地方各省所鑄銅圓，皆在其正面中央鐫刻陰文或陽(yáng)文省名簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)。計(jì)有：1、中央戶(hù)部；2、直；3、吉；4、奉；5、汴；6、鄂；7、湘；8、川；9、云；10、滇；11、川滇；12、贛；13、閩；14、粵；15、浙；16、蘇；17、皖；18、東；19、寧。其中，吉字最少；川滇、云字次之；滇、贛、蘇、浙、東字再次之；余皆多見(jiàn)。

Among them, Ji is the least; Sichuan-Yunnan and Yunnan are the second; Yunnan, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Dongzi are the second; the rest are more common.
十銅圓的鑄造工藝的不同，型制大小厚薄的不同，也是區(qū)別當(dāng)十銅圓版別的重要之處。清代末期中央政府明文規(guī)定鑄造銅圓的材質(zhì)為以紅銅97%--98.3%、鋅2-3%、錫1%以及其他配合 ，此含銅量為普通版別，當(dāng)時(shí)的官版為銅含量75%-85%之間，大多省局鑄造的當(dāng)十銅圓是合乎規(guī)定的紅銅圓。
