After Zhang Zuolin became Commander-in-Chief of the Anguo Army in 1926, the Tianjin Mint General Factory made four Commemorative Silver coins. The front is Zhang Zuolin's positive image, while the reverse is the fifteen years (1926) and sixteen years (1927) of the Republic of China and seventeen years (1928) and the age-free years. 張作霖大元帥紀念幣為民國17年(公元1928年)天津造幣總廠鑄制，紀念幣正面鑄張作霖頭像，上有“大元帥紀念幣”六字，背面為“十八星旗與五色旗”，上有“中華民國十七年”七字，下列英文“ONE DOLLAR”對照，設計精美，具有非常鮮明的歷史時代特色。
Marshal Zhang Zuolin's commemorative coin was coined by Tianjin Mint General Factory in the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928 A.D.). On the front of the coin was a head of Ling, with the six words "Marshal's commemorative coin", on the back was "Eighteen Stars Flag and Five Colors Flag", with the seven words "Seventeen Years of the Republic of China", and the following English words "ONE DOLLAR" as a contrast, it was beautifully designed. It has very distinct characteristics of the historical era.
